About the Role:
POOLCORP is currently seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to conduct financial, operational and compliance reviews at our corporate headquarters and sales center locations throughout the US. If you are looking for a challenging position in a fast-paced environment at an industry leading corporation with stable growth, this position may be ideal for you!
Responsibilities:
- Coordination, scheduling of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) testing on routine process areas and performance of SOX testing on more complex process areas.
- Facilitation of external auditor requests for SOX as well as direct assistance to the external audit.
- Performs sales center audits and assesses warehouse operations.
- Contributes to the administration of the sales center audit, and SOX programs to ensure appropriate coverage of emerging risks.
- Summarizes observations and prepares reports for Senior Management and Audit Committee.
- Assists in performing corporate level and process improvement reviews.
- Assists in investigations as needed.
- Administrative activities such as: project tracking, recruiting, status reporting, as required and other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from a four-year college or university.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- An analytical approach to tasks and responsibilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel 20-25%.
- Certification as a CPA, CIA and/or CISA is desirable.
- Two or more years of experience and /or training in a professional level auditing or accounting environment is strongly preferred.
