Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Mathematics and Science Teacher at the San Miguel School in Washington, DC. The Teacher will be responsible for creating and delivering engaging lessons in science and mathematics, developing lesson plans, and providing academic support to students. The Teacher will also be involved in student assessment and evaluation, classroom management, and fostering a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Science Education and Physics knowledge
• Strong proficiency in Mathematics
• Experience and certification as a Qualified Teacher
• Ability to create effective lesson plans
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for teaching and working with at-risk students
• Experience in student assessment and evaluation
• Classroom management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and administrators
• Experience with instructional technology and resources
