Needham & Company, a full service investment bank, has an immediate position available for an Institutional Junior Equity Sales Associate in its Boston Office. Great opportunity working with senior members of the sales force to learn the equity research sales business by managing a diverse number of responsibilities including but not limited to providing coverage backup, prospecting new accounts, organizing marketing meetings and analysts calls, logistical planning of client events, and general support to the sales professionals located in that office. This position also entails direct coverage responsibilities of some of the largest Investment Management firms across Boston/Canada , and will allow for the individual to build their own account list and develop their own relationships. Ideal for someone who is motivated and wants to gain valuable hands-on experience!
The ideal candidate will have 0-3 years of experience in the financial services industry and possess an undergraduate degree in a related major. Possession of the SIE, series 7 and/or 63 is a plus, but not required.
