About the Role:
As the Service Contract Manager, you will be responsible for acquiring materials, components, equipment, and services essential for our marine services group's operational efficacy. You will oversee the entire procurement lifecycle, from soliciting quotations to negotiating and developing contracts. Your role will be crucial in assessing budgetary parameters, conducting cost analyses, and projecting volumes for commodities and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support all procurement activities to ensure timely placement of orders and contracts
- Collaborate with project teams to negotiate favorable terms and conditions for contracts
- Utilize strong financial acumen to analyze procurement data and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Ensure strict adherence to company policies, procedures, and industry regulations
- Manage all subcontractor commercial issues from development to fulfillment
- Provide guidance and mentorship to the procurement team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in business, paralegal studies, or a technical field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement management
- Strong contract drafting and negotiating skills
- Experience within the marine services or oil and gas industry preferred
Additional Requirements:
- Experience with supply contracts and commercial management
- Knowledge of RFQs, proposals, scopes, and generating contracts
- Oracle and MS Project experience is a plus
