Financial Analyst (FP&A)

Red River is searching for a talented Financial Analyst to join our growing Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. The analyst will play a visible role in financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting for a $1B+ technology transformation organization.

The individual will help the team develop and maintain sustainable and scalable financial solutions and should be comfortable working cross-functionally and at all levels of the company. The position will report to the Manager of FP&A.

Position Responsibilities:

Support in the preparation of monthly financial reporting presentations, forecast updates, and Board materialsAnalyze and track key financial metrics perform variance analyses against budget and prior forecasts, as well as identifying meaningful trendsDevelop and maintain complex financial models to assist with decision making by providing insightful and actionable recommendationsContribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual FP&A processes including monthly forecasting and financial reporting, quarterly presentations, annual budgeting, and ad hoc analysesContinuously seek to identify areas for process improvements and efficiencies in reporting processes and deliverables owned by the FP&A teamContribute to the implementation of a new financial system, used to ensure information and data captured is aligned with requirements of future forecasting, reporting, and analysisPerform ad hoc projects and analyses to support Finance and the senior leadership teamPromote and sustain a high-performance culture; continuously raise the bar among the finance organization

Minimum Education/Certification/Experience Requirements:

Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Administration3-5 years of applicable work experience

Preferred Education/Certification/Experience:

Must have strong MS Excel skillsPrior experience in FP&A, investment banking, private equity, or consulting

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Must have strong MS Excel skillsSound knowledge of generally accepted accounting principlesAbility to multi-task and work in a challenging fast paced environmentDetail oriented and strong attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsMaturity, professionalism, and high level of discretion is requiredStrong presence with ability to interact with Senior Leadership
