The Opportunity:

We have an opportunity for you to use your project management and analytical skills to improve the U.S. Space Force. You ll work closely with your customer to understand their questions and needs, and then dig into their data-rich environment to find the pieces of their information puzzle. You ll craft strategies to locate and source datasets, develop project plans and schedules, establish metrics and KPIs for leaders, develop status reports to track progress and risks, write scripts to analyze data and automate processes for efficiency, and build dashboards using business intelligence tools to make sense of it all. Using the right combination of tools and frameworks to turn sets of disparate data into objective insights, your efforts will enable U.S. Space Force leaders to make data-informed decisions. You ll provide your customer with a deep understanding of their data, what it all means, and how they can use it. Join us as we use data science for good in support of the U.S. Space Force.

You Have:

2+ years of experience with Data Science, Data Analytics, or Data Visualization2+ years of experience with Python, R, or SQL2+ years of experience managing projects and applying project management methodologiesExperience using MS Project to build project schedules, including defining and sequencing project tasks, estimating durations, and establishing performance metrics to measure and report on progress for project ownersExperience using business intelligence tools, including Tableau, Qlik Sense, or Power BI to visualize findings and develop dashboards for varying levels of leadersExperience with data wrangling techniques to cleanse data for data science applicationsAbility to source useful datasets and to develop datasets organicallyAbility to communicate information and translate technical topics to senior government and military clients in verbal and written formatsSecret clearanceBachelor s degree

Experience using Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) to automate processes and reportingExperience with MS Access to house data and run queriesExperience contributing to the development of business development or marketing products, including proposals and white papersKnowledge of the U.S. Space Force, U.S. Air Force, or other Department of Defense ServiceMaster s degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $93,300.00 to $212,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
