LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a growing organization, and they are seeking a highly motivated Bilingual Sanitation Manager to join their team in Streamwood, IL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sanitation, preferably in the food manufacturing industry, and be fluent in both English and Spanish. The Sanitation Manager will play a key role in developing, implementing, and overseeing all sanitation protocols within our manufacturing facilities. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop implement, and oversee all sanitation protocols within the manufacturing facilities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with production, quality control, and maintenance teams to enforce sanitation standards and procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment, production areas, and facilities to identify sanitation issues and ensure compliance with sanitation protocols.
  • Lead efforts to continuously improve our sanitation process, including the implementation of new technologies and best practices.
  • Lead sanitation training programs for employees and managers to ensure proper sanitation procedures are followed.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential sanitation hazards and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Lead sanitation audits and inspections to verify compliance with sanitation standards and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain a schedule for all sanitation activities, including cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting of equipment and facilities.
  • Monitor sanitation performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed to address deficiencies.
  • Provide leadership and direction to sanitation team members to ensure efficient and effective execution of sanitation activities.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in sanitation, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, both written and verbal, is required.
  • Strong knowledge of sanitation protocols, regulations, and best practices.
  • Experience conducting sanitation training programs and leading sanitation audits.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and occasional night activities.
