Zurich North America is currently hiring a Lead Pega Developer and this person will work in a hybrid schedule from our Schaumburg, IL North America Headquarters.Responsibilities:Develop Pega applications for Zurich North America claims systems which are internal and external facing for customers.Interact with business stakeholders and technical teams throughout the software development life cycleDevelopment in a Agile/Scrum development methodologyBasic Qualifications:Bachelors Degree and 5 or more years of experience in the Software Programming Applications area ORHigh School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in the Software Programming Applications area ORZurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 5 or more years of experience in the Software Programming Applications area ANDExperience assisting with design, coding benchmark testing, debugging and documentation of programsExperience working with multiple phases of software systems programming applicationsExperience working with multiple programming languagesPreferred Qualifications:5 plus years experience developing applications on Pega SystemsInsurance Industry ExperienceExperience in working in a distributed team environment.Strong verbal and written communication skillsAs a condition of employment at Zurich, employees must adhere to any COVID-related health and safety protocols in place at that time ( ).A future with Zurich.
