We are seekingcandidates with a valid FAA Ground Instructor License, Instrument Ground Instructor License, with a Certified flight instructor license including instrument rating and Multi-Engine instructor license. He/She will instruct students pilots at WASHINGTON INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT ACADEMY (WIFA). Flight instructors teach students how to fly aircraft safely. They teach students safety rules and basic principles of flight and aircraft operation. They teach students about flight conditions, instruments in the cockpit, landing, take-off, and how to check all systems aboard the plane. he will help develop curricula, instruct students in a classroom setting, conduct training flights, determine student proficiency, report on student progress and develop new teaching methods. he will be responsible for training students in subjects such as aircraft systems, operating procedures, handling emergencies, problem analysis, aircraft navigation, radio operation and aerodynamics. 10 months of experiencerequired. must have experience in being a ground instructor and teaching aviation to students.
