**Summary**
Working at The Miner Brewing Company, the Brewery Associate ensures the delivery of an excellent customer experience for each guest. Their primary focus is to share their beer knowledge, making certain all information communicated is delivered in a professional, engaging manner. Teamwork, a sense of humor, a strong work ethic, and true enjoyment of beer and people are vital to success in this position.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Responsible for completing opening and closing checklists
* Understand and support brewery sales & experience-based tactics as planned
* Understand the importance of the huddle board and provides valuable feedback
* Engage with guests and be very knowledgeable regarding beer, wine, food, and retail
* Actively participates in brewery games and provide valuable feedback
* Stocking and pricing of brewery merchandise
* Prepare, serve, and stock brewery food items
* Keep work area clean and organized
* Perform daily facility housekeeping, including the taproom, keg room, restrooms, beer garden, porch, and parking lot
* Provide assistance to guests carrying out products when needed
* Follow health code requirements in regards to the foodservice
* Handle routine POS transactions
* Properly serve beer in all formats including growlers, pints, and flights
* Properly serve wines available in the taproom
* Properly change kegs when empty
* Takes and fulfills orders from guests for beer and food
* Explain to guests the experiences offered at other Prairie Berry entities in order to facilitate upselling
**Qualifications and Skills**
* Has at least one year of related experience to include fulfillment, sales, and/or customer service
* Is at least 21 years of age
* Has a reputation for providing great service to guests and co-workers
* Can handle multiple tasks at one time
* Is able to work independently and as a member of a team
* Is passionate about selling great beer and providing great service
* Ability to anticipate customer needs and respond appropriately
* Ability to work weekends and holidays as well as flexibility in scheduling to ensure business-staffing needs are met
* Ability to lift 50 lbs. with assistance frequently
* Ability to stand for extended periods of time

**Summary**
At Prairie Berry, were here to serve our guests. Thats difficult to do without clean dishes. The dishwasher/bus person is a vital link in the chain of Prairie Berrys positive customer experience. This person is responsible for maintaining clean, sanitary conditions at the dishwashing station of the Kitchen, and making sure there are always clean dishes ready for the next guest. This job also requires clearing dishes from the tables in the dining area and patio. The person in this position is expected to interact graciously with any guests he or she encounters, and be a positive addition to the Kitchen team.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
* MUST work weekends and evenings
* Follows sanitation and serving procedures
* Assumes 100% responsibility for the cleanliness of dishware
* Load, run and unload dish machine
* Monitor dish machine water temperature and chemical levels to ensure sanitary wash cycle
* Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware
* Keep dish area clean and organized
* Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for the dining room and kitchen
* Bag and haul kitchen trash and recyclables to dumpster
* Buses indoor and outdoor tables and prepares tables and eating area for next guest
* Performs other related duties as assigned by the Kitchen staff or manager
**Qualifications and Skills**
* Is self-motivated, especially under pressure
* Likes to have fun at work
* Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
* Able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds
* Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 7 hours)
* Able to work in hot, wet, humid, and loud environment for long periods of time
