**** THIS IS A HYBRID POSITION****Job SummaryVSolvit is currently seeking a Help Desk Technician in support of the U.S. Army Dugway Proving Ground Data Management Division (DMD) IT Support Contract.As with any position, additional expectations exist. Some of these are, but are not limited to, adhering to normal working hours, meeting deadlines, following company policies as outlined by the Employee Handbook, communicating regularly with assigned supervisor(s), and staying focused on the assigned tasks including company meetings, and completing other tasks as assigned.ResponsibilitiesLog all requests for assistance, upon notification, and track solutions in the Help Desk Ticketing systemPerform Tier II/III (direct user support) for WDTC DREN/SDREN core services for Test Mission Support System (TMSS) network supporting DoD customersTroubleshoot various IT-related issues (i.e., computer, network, printer, etc.)Perform service desk duties as defined by current Information Technologies Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processesSupport technologies, to include operating systems, servers and software applications issues, resolve and implement solutionsPatch and comply with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) standardsPerform imaging on new and transferred computers, in accordance with DISA Secure Host Baseline (SHB) policiesPerform system builds on computers using the system image library, as required IAW DMD prioritization based on the test center s requirements for testingProvide user account support to include: creating, updating, disabling/deleting, and resetting accounts in Active Directory (AD)Perform data recovery from backups and from damaged data storage devicesInstall and configure printer drivers on workstations and laptopsBasic QualificationsMUST have 1 year experience in a Help Desk/IT environment or 4-year college degree, in lieuHS DiplomaKnowledge in the following areas: MS Windows 10, Computer troubleshooting/repairCurrent certification in one of the following: Security+ CE (preferable), SSCP, CCNA-Security, CISSP (or Associate), CISA, GCIH, GCED, CASP CE, CAPCurrent certificate of training in one of the following: A+ (preferable), MCSA, MCSE, RHCSA, Linux+Preferred QualificationsAssociates in any IT fieldExperience working on a military installation/contractAdditional RequirementsUnited States Citizenship requiredActive DoD SECRET Security Clearance or the ability to obtain oneCompany SummaryJoin the VSolvit Team!
