We are expanding our outreach team and are looking for motivated Canvassers to join us.
Role Summary:
As a Canvasser for Terra Energy, you will play a crucial role in our direct marketing efforts by engaging homeowners in face-to-face conversations. Your goal will be to educate homeowners about the benefits of reducing their electric bills by up to 50% with our services, and to gather key information that aids in this process.
Responsibilities:
- Travel to assigned neighborhoods and engage with homeowners in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present our energy solutions clearly and compellingly to potential customers to help them understand the benefits of switching to Terra Energy.
- Work towards three key objectives during interactions: close a deal, collect a recent utility bill, or obtain contract information along with an estimate of their monthly electricity expenditure.
- Use mobile devices and apps to record customer information accurately in our CRM system and track daily progress.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on the latest products and sales techniques.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in door-to-door sales or canvassing, preferred but not required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Resilience and determination, with the ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude.
- Basic understanding of CRM systems and tech-savviness to navigate mobile reporting tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while walking or standing for extended periods.
