**Responsibilities**

* Forecast goals and objectives for the parts department

* Hire, train, and monitor the performance of all parts department staff

* Maintain inventory consistent with the requirement for the various departments

* Create pricing guidelines for customer categories

* Monitor inventory for accuracy

* Guarantee all parts are properly tagged

* Supervise stock order procedures

* Work closely with the service manager to ensure timely turnaround of parts needed

* Provides technical assistance when necessary

* Develop and enforce guidelines for working with customers to ensure maximum customer satisfaction

* Enforce safety requirements

* Maintain a professional appearance

* Create a yearly budget and plan to ensure department profitability

* Implement department efficiencies

**Qualifications**

* 3 to 5 years prior managerial experience

* Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record

* Ability to work well in a team environment and effectively manger time

* Proven follow-up and organizational skills

* Ability to read, analyze and interpret written information and instructions

* Superior communication and customer service skills.
