Description

Our Warehouse Clerkswork hard to improve the organization, coordination and control of inventory to and from the warehouse or storage area; performing a combination of tasks including but not limited to receiving, filling, shipping, and inspecting orders accurately and in a timely manner; efficiently and safely loading, unloading and conveying materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive trucks and unload merchandise.
  • Stock warehouse.
  • Check in merchandise on inventory software.
  • Organize materials in warehouse and prepare for loading.
  • Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items.
  • Follow all safety codes.
  • Record amounts of materials or items received.
  • Sort material according to size, type, style, color, or product code.
  • Carry out tasks as assigned by the warehouse supervisor / manager.
  • Identify damage, loss, or surplus of goods and materials stored in the warehouse.
  • Compile inventory balances and price lists.
  • Maintain records of all activities and processes pertaining to the storehouse.
  • Tool use and safety (drill, nail-gun, pry bar, circular saw, hammers, etc.)
  • Use of forklift and/or crane to transport parts.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Familiarity with equivalent shipping practices and handling methods.
  • Inventory experience strongly preferred.
  • Forklift experience.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.

  • Ability to follow established policies and procedures with a safety-first attitude.
  • Willingness to work hours outside of the standard schedule as needed, with appropriate notice when possible.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 software and SAP experience preferred.

Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
