About the RoleThe Company is seeking a VP - Experience Design to lead the creation of exceptional end-user experiences within the Structured Finance Line of Business. This role demands a highly skilled practitioner with a strong understanding of customer experience and a user-centered design methodology. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining the UX vision and strategy, leading a team of UX designers, and ensuring that design deliverables align with the overall customer experience strategy. Collaboration with product strategists and business stakeholders is key, as is the ability to mentor and manage a diverse design team. The VP - of Experience Design will also be involved in strategic planning, design oversight, stakeholder communication, design facilitation, user research, and contributing to the company's in-house design system.Candidates for this role should have a Bachelor's degree (Master's in HCI preferred) and extensive experience in experience design leadership for web and mobile interfaces, particularly within the financial services sector. Expertise in Agile software methodologies, strong communication skills, and the ability to work both hands-on and at a strategic level are essential. The role requires a detail-oriented self-starter with a passion for challenges, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in ambiguous and complex environments. Experience with Figma and the ability to travel for workshops and meetings are also necessary.
