Full-Time Radiology Tech


Advanced Surgery Center of Northern Louisiana, a leading multispecialty surgery center, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Full-Time Radiology Tech to join our dynamic team. As a Radiology Tech at our state-of-the-art facility, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients undergoing various surgical procedures.


Responsibilities:


  1. 1. Perform radiologic examinations, including X-rays and other diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established protocols.
    2. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to determine imaging requirements for surgical cases.
    3. Position patients and equipment appropriately for imaging procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
    4. Operate and maintain radiology equipment, troubleshooting issues and reporting any malfunctions promptly.
    5. Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation of imaging procedures in compliance with regulatory standards.
    6. Provide support to surgeons and medical staff during procedures requiring real-time imaging guidance.
    7. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
    8. Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
    9. Participate in continuous education and training to stay updated on industry advancements and best practices.
    10. Uphold the center's commitment to patient satisfaction and safety.

Required Skills:
  1. Current ARRT certification.
  2. Current CPR/BLS certification.
  3. Prior experience in a surgical or multispecialty setting is preferred.
  4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  5. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Proficient in using radiology equipment and related technology.
