Required Skills and Abilities

Under the direction of the Field Director, the Training Manager will be responsible for developingand executing a comprehensive, long- form training program. The candidate should haveexperience working in the nonprofit and/or campaign setting, demonstrated professionalismand tact in communications with a diversity of individuals. Strong organizational and timemanagement skills, acute attention to detail, and ability to work well with others on the campaignteam. This position is based in (Columbus Ohio).



Position Responsibilities

The Training Manager reports to the Field Director. S/he/they plays a key role on a talented and dedicated team that minimizes weaknesses, shares strengths, and maintains high standards. The Training Director:


Training Manager maintains a positive and enthusiastic attitude

Develops training processes and materials for any membership-based organization who interacts with the program with an emphasis on programming for escalation into leadership positions.

Plans and executes the material creation and coordination efforts for all major statewide trainings,

including staff onboardings, all-staff trainings, statewide volunteer summits, and more.

Builds strong relationships with other departments to build cross-departmental systems andstructures to support the organizing team.

Attends necessary meetings.

Maintains neat and well-organized work logs.

Other responsibilities as assigned.



Requirements.

Transportation to and from work

Ability to work well with people from different backgrounds and cultures

Ability to work irregular hours

Ability to stand and walk for 4-5 hours at a time



Position Details

The position of Training Manager is a full-time salaried position.

The salary for this position ranges from $65,000-70,000.
