The Music Therapist will help develop, implement, and evaluate a music therapy program for patients receiving care from the Department/Division. Foster positive and professional interpersonal relationships with patients/families, physicians, hospital staff, community representatives and visitors. Effectively use interpersonal communication skills to promote a healing environment. Qualifications: Minimum Education Bachelor's Degree (Required) Master's Degree (Preferred) Minimum Work Experience 2 years Post Bachelor's experience as a music therapist (Preferred) 1 year Post Master's experience as a music therapist (Preferred) Required Skills/Knowledge Excellent inter-personal and communication skills. Ability to relate to diverse patient populations. Sensitivity to individuals from varied backgrounds and cultures. Competency with age-specific needs from childhood through young adulthood.
