Come grow with us at Molex! Our team in New Richmond, Wisconsin is seeking a dynamic Buyer/Planner to join us!
**What You Will Do In Your Role**
* Determine raw material requirements based on new orders, computer generated MRP information and customer forecast
* Process purchase orders and maintain raw material inventories
* Communicate with suppliers when placing orders, following up with orders, new requests for quotes (RFQs), and quality issues
* Maintain, update and evaluate Approved Supplier Listing
* Coordinate delivery of raw materials with scheduling and engineering to meet production plan
* Identify potential sources for new products and material
* Negotiate with suppliers on pricing, delivery and services
* Complete supplier evaluations per corporate policy
* Assist engineering department to attain new project purchased components and raw material information and set up item standards in manufacturing system
* Expedite the resolutions of issues relating to the product, delivery and/or invoices
* Effectively communicate with both internal and external customers in a timely manner
* Establish and maintain sound professional relationships with suppliers including suggestions for new agreements
* Participate in cross-functional team projects to implement cost, quality, and delivery improvements
**The Experience You Will Bring**
**Requirements:**
* 3+ years of experience within sourcing and/or planning
**What Will Put You Ahead**
* Bachelor's Degree in Business
* Experience with Medical Device Industry
* Knowledge of SAP
