About the Role:

The SAP Procurement and Logistics Functional Leader plays a critical role in ensuring the optimal design, implementation, and support of SAP's procurement and logistics modules. This position requires a deep understanding of SAP's Materials Management (MM), Supply Chain Management (SCM), and relevant logistics modules to drive efficiency and optimization in the organization's procurement and supply chain processes.

Responsibilities Include:
  • SAP Expertise:Demonstrate deep functional knowledge of SAP MM,relevant SCM modules (e.g.,Production Planning,Warehouse Management),and integration points with other modules (FI/CO,SD).
  • Process Optimization:Analyze existing procurement,logistics,and supply chain processes,identifying opportunities for improvement and leveraging SAP functionality to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Solution Design and Configuration:Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements,develop functional specifications,and configure SAP solutions that streamline procurement,inventory management,and logistics operations.
  • Project Management:Lead and participate in SAP implementation,upgrade,and enhancement projects within the procurement and logistics domains,ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • User Support and Training:Provide expert-level support for SAP MM/SCM issues,resolving complex problems,and developing training materials and sessions for end-users.
  • Documentation:Maintain thorough documentation of system configurations,business processes,and user guides.
  • Vendor Management:Collaborate with SAP consultants and external vendors,managing relationships and service agreements.
About The Pay:
  • Base Salary Range: $140,000 - $160,000 Annually

  • Final compensation will be determined based upon experience and skills and may vary based on location.
About You:
  • Education:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management,Logistics,Business,Information Systems,or a related field.
  • Experience:Minimum of 7+ years of hands-on SAP MM experience,with at least 2 full lifecycle implementations in procurement,inventory management,or logistics-related domains.
  • Technical Skills:Strong configuration abilities within SAP MM and relevant SCM modules (PP,WM,etc.).Understanding of integration points with finance,sales,and production.
  • Business Acumen:Understanding of supply chain,procurement,and logistics best practices.Ability to connect SAP solutions to business goals.
  • Communication:Excellent verbal and written communication,capable of effectively interacting with technical teams,business users,and senior management.
  • Problem-solving and Analytical Skills:Proven ability to analyze complex problems,identify root causes,and propose effective solutions.
Desired Skills
  • S/4HANA Experience:Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementations or migrations in procurement and supply chain modules.
  • Industry Certifications:SAP certifications or recognized supply chain certifications.
  • Project Management Skills:Experience leading and managing complex projects.
