And submit proof of identity and employment eligibility.BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION: Work involves responsibility for the application of journey-level carpentry skills and knowledge in constructing, altering, and repairing municipal structures, parking lots, furniture, equipment and fixtures made of wood or similar materials. Work is performed in accordance with building codes and standard trade practices with inspection during process and upon completion. Performs substantial manual labor and may work independently at times in performing routine tasks.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or GED and journey-level certification as a carpenter as sanctioned by the Carpenter's District Council #61; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of this position.
