We have an exciting opportunity for a Pricing and Value Analyst in the Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, New York or Washington, DC, office at Eversheds Sutherland (US) LLP. We are searching for someone who wants to be a valued contributor and member of a talented and dynamic team of lawyers, paralegals and business professionals.




The Pricing and Value Analyst will work closely with the Pricing and Value Manager in the achievement of the Firm s strategic pricing, matter management, profitability and reporting objectives. Under the guidance of the Director of Pricing and Value, the Analyst will work independently and in an organized fashion in a data-driven environment providing information on legal pricing (and other financial metrics), legal project management and data analytics, while prioritizing the required workload in a fast-paced environment.




Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Works with and supports the Director of Pricing & Value, Pricing Manager, Partners, and the Pricing & Value team in various reporting and pricing requests.
  • Tracks all current and past projects and pricing tasks, maintains data matrices and prepares reports for senior leadership summarizing the team s work and accomplishments.
  • Prepares spreadsheets and analyzes with direction. Formats raw data into appealing reports and presentations using appropriate software.
  • Supports Partners, Business Development Managers, and RFP team in the US and international teams with pricing matters by providing analysis, strategy, advice, AFAs and presentations for RFP responses.
  • Assists with scoping and budgeting of matters, monitoring of matters, after-action review and advice. Develops and provides client and matter monitoring and other reporting.
  • Reviews Outside Counsel Guidelines (OCGs) to identify terms that require further review or edits, reviews other information and terms of note for tracking and makes sure all information is kept up to date in a database.
  • Produces and distributes various reports with direction. Merges and formats documents in Adobe pdf.
  • Utilizes Client, industry and peer survey data to make recommendations and engage in the Firm s annual rate setting project.
  • Provides support as needed to the Pricing & Value team for expense reports and scheduling.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.






Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • A Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Two or more years of experience in a business role.
  • Experience in a law firm or financial services organization is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, time management and client service skills are required.
  • Strong planning and problem solving skills including a demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, prioritize work, maintain deadlines and produce high quality work.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels.




This is a hybrid role and will require on-site presence 3 days per week. Salary is commensurate with years of relevant experience & geographic location. The range for this position is $62,100 - $95,200.
