**Summary:** A Packer is responsible for placing and stacking goods into the correct containers and preparing them for shipment using various equipment. They are responsible for reviewing packing lists and ensuring the correct items are shipped out to customers. They will complete a final check for defects before shipment. The packer is responsible for moving the completed containers to the shipping staging area.
**Education and Experience:**
High School diploma or GED equivalent is *preferred*
Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment *preferred*
Some basic computer knowledge
**Physical Working Conditions:**
Job requires repetitively lifting average weight objects with repetitive bending and stooping.
Frequently lifts heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.)
Job may require physical exertion such as long periods of standing.
Job may require above average agility and dexterity.
**Work Hours:**
Expected to work 6AM-4:30PM, Monday-Thursday. Overtime on Friday/Saturday
