Description: This position will support MACC through program delivery for behavioral health and how it influences the organizations served by MACC.
Duties and responsibilities: 1. Demonstrate an understanding of behavioral health/cultural competency and the role it plays in health and social service delivery. 2. Supporting program development and delivery 3. Support in budget tracking and development. 4. Develop, plan, organize, and facilitate workshops. 5. Attend meetings. 6. Schedule and manage all training. 7. Support Trainers and Contractors 8. Manage databases. 9. Support marketing in keeping social media and website postings current. 10. Promote and market MACC in community events. 11. Provide support in planning and development of Annual meetings and Conferences and Golf Outing Fundraiser 12. Provide support in the planning and development of the Annual Gala Fundraiser 13. Provide support on Advocacy efforts, including tracking and researching legislation that supports MACC's mission. 14. General agency support of activities: Cultural Conversations; Quarterly newsletter 15. Research upcoming grants and potential funding opportunities. 16. Provide support in grant preparation for submissions. 17. Provide research in support of ongoing program development. 18. Coordinates with key internal and external stakeholders to advance aligned implementation and reporting of programs. 19. Collaborates with the data team on reporting for all aspects of clinical programs. Assists in the implementation and tracking of improvements. 20. Develop support systems for the ongoing operational delivery of clinical and/or prevention programs, ensuring process improvement where possible. Works with other hospital stakeholders as applicable. 21. Supports program leadership in strategic development and implementation. Manages processes with state and other external entities related to grant funding as applicable. 22. Manages the files and databases to ensure complete and accurate records. Assures reports are accurate and submitted in a timely manner. Utilizes technology to enhance and prepare presentations. 23. Coordinates with Marketing, program leaders, service line leadership, and program committee to increase the visibility of programs. Coordinates the content for online platforms. Participates in community partnership opportunities as a representative of MACC.
Qualifications Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree in Public Health, Behavioral Health Services, Business, Education, or related healthcare field, required. A Master's Degree or equivalent experience is preferred. Skills: - Exceptional understanding of the principles of Behavioral Health - Excellent interpersonal or organizational skills necessary to present and communicate vital information effectively to all levels of hospital staff and external stakeholders. - Analytical and technological ability is necessary to gather data, evaluate options, and make recommendations. - Excellent ability to analyze and interpret data; ability to make the data tell a story that compels people to change their practices. - Reflective listening skills are critical. - Demonstrated planning, presentation, and project management skills required. Strong skill in promoting multidisciplinary collaboration. - Demonstrated evidence of group process skills. - Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required. - Demonstrated knowledge of computer software.
Experience: - Two years' experience in program planning and project management. - Experience with public speaking.
