As a Remote Cruise Advisor & Specialist, you will be responsible for creating unforgettable cruise experiences for our clients. Your role involves extensive knowledge of cruise itineraries, destinations, and cruise lines, as well as excellent customer service skills. You will work closely with clients to understand their preferences, provide expert advice, and coordinate all aspects of their cruise vacations.

Responsibilities:

Client Consultation:

Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their preferences, budget, and expectations.

Provide expert advice on cruise destinations, itineraries, and cruise lines.

Booking and Reservations:

Research and book cruise packages based on client preferences and budget.

Handle cruise reservations, including accommodation, dining, and on-board activities.

Product Knowledge:

Stay up-to-date with the latest cruise industry trends, new ships, and travel regulations.

Build and maintain in-depth knowledge of various cruise lines, ships, and itineraries.

Customer Service:

Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to client inquiries and concerns.

Assist clients with pre- and post-cruise arrangements, including transportation and excursions.

Documentation and Logistics:

Ensure accurate and timely completion of all documentation required for cruise travel.

Coordinate logistics, such as transportation to and from the cruise port, travel insurance, and necessary visas.

Sales:

Actively promote and upsell additional services, such as shore excursions, specialty dining, and onboard packages.

Collaboration:

Work closely with cruise line representatives and suppliers.

Post-Trip Follow-Up:

Conduct post-trip follow-ups with clients to gather feedback and address any concerns.

Maintain long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Cruise Specialist or in a similar role within the travel industry.

In-depth knowledge of various cruise lines, ships, and popular cruise destinations.

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Passion for travel and a willingness to stay informed about industry trends.

Education and Qualifications:

Certifications in travel and tourism provided (e.g., Certified Travel)
