Sales Manager, International Freight Forwarding

Our client, a Freight Forwarding and Logistics provider are looking to hire an experienced Freight Forwarding Sales Manager to join their team in the Washington, DC area.

Responsibilities:

• Continuously seek new opportunities to sell international logistics and freight forwarding services to generate sales in the USA
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of business
• Assist with presentations, proposals and pricing quotes
• Regularly network and attend industry events to develop leads and convert into sales
• Create strong working relationships with clients

Requirements:

• Many years experience selling international logistics & freight forwarding services across the USA
• Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
• Proven track record bringing in new business with Defence, Government Agencies and Contactors preferred
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
• Bachelor s Degree or higher preferred

Some domestic and international travel may be required.
