No Remote **IMMEDIATE NEED.** Our client is looking for a **Buyer** for their North American operation in East Providence, RI **REQUIREMENTS:**
The requirements for this position are 5+ years experience in the purchasing of raw or processed materials within the automotive industry. Individual must possess a working knowledge in the use of various computer applications and basic book keeping skills.
**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
Primary responsibility includes the procurement of raw, semi-processed materials and consumable supplies at competitive pricing for our manufacturing operations. Act as liaison between Quality Assurance, Supplier Development/ Risk Assessment Departments and suppliers to communicate quality requirements and standards. Manages the Approved Supplier list. Issue and distribute purchase orders as applicable to suppliers and group companies for required products and services delivered on time.
