Position: Research Coordinator / Executive Assistant


Role Overview:

We are seeking a Research Coordinator / Executive Assistant to play a pivotal role in supporting our research initiatives and senior executives in the field of novel human-computer interaction technology. This role is central to maintaining high levels of organizational effectiveness, communication, and safety. Your responsibilities will include managing research logistics, providing comprehensive executive support, and directly engaging in our pioneering projects.


Responsibilities:

- Coordinate logistics for research studies, including participant recruitment and data collection, to support innovative human-computer interaction projects.

- Provide high-level administrative support to senior executives, handling scheduling, correspondence, and travel arrangements with a focus on efficiency and time management.

- Act as a test user for new technologies, collecting data to enhance product development.

- Lead the establishment of our new office by selecting furniture, planning space layouts, and creating an inviting and functional workplace.

- Maintain office supplies, manage vendor relationships, and ensure all equipment operates smoothly.

- Prepare, manage, and ensure the confidentiality of executive reports and presentations.

- Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external communications, fostering strong relationships across all levels of the organization.

- Organize and oversee company events and meetings, contributing to a vibrant company culture and strong employee engagement.


Key Qualifications:

- Enjoy reading books

- Demonstrated experience in research coordination and executive assistance, preferably within a technology or research-focused environment.

- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with a proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

- Outstanding communication abilities, both verbal and written.

- Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive information.

- Proficient in MS Office and adaptable to new technologies and systems.

- Strong interest in engaging with cutting-edge research and technology evaluations.


Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in tech or research environments, particularly using CRM and participant management systems.

- Prior experience as a research assistant or in managing research logistics.

- Expertise in setting up new offices, focusing on design and functionality that supports diverse team needs.

- Understanding of basic financial management, including budgeting and expense tracking.
