Office Services Assistant


Job Details

A highly regarded law firm is seeking experienced candidates for their Office Services/Caterer position in their Washington D.C. office. The firm is seeking candidates willing to commit to an open ended contract.


  • This is a contract role, open ended
  • Hours are 7:00am - 4:00pm
  • Pay starting at $24/hour
  • 5 days per week in office


This is an active, hands-on role requiring standing, walking, lifting, and maneuvering around the office for the majority of the shift.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Stock, organize, and replenish supplies including coffee, tea, bottled beverages, dry snacks, fresh fruit, paper goods, and break room supplies
  • Check inventory levels daily and anticipate needs; submit orders and rectify office supply deliveries
  • Unpack items and properly store inventory on shelves, in the refrigerator, and in pantries
  • Prepare and set up daily refreshments in break rooms and pantries
  • Maintain organization of all supply cabinets, pantries, closets and storage areas
  • Restock conference room supplies
  • Set up conference rooms with refreshments and supplies for meetings
  • Maintain tidiness of lobby and common office spaces
  • Report any maintenance or facilities issues you notice to the Facilities Manager
  • Adhere to the purchasing budgets for office supplies and snack items
  • Participate in any facilities projects or tasks as needed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, maneuver carts/dollies, and bend/stretch to reach items
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Professional demeanor and communication skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • Willingness and ability to stand, walk, lift, carry, and maneuver around the office for extended periods
  • Knowledge of general office practices and office equipment/supplies

Schedule:

  • Full-time role, Monday to Friday
  • 7 am to 4 pm schedule (some flexibility required)





Consilio offers non-attorney flexible talent placement rates that range from $15 to $100 per hour depending upon experience level and specific skills requested by the client, the candidate s general skill set, the applicability of candidate's skill set to client need, client budget, number of hours requested, and other factors. A specific rate of pay for a project will be discussed with you if it is determined that you are a potential fit for a role.
