Unitek Technical Services provides supplier management, development, and related technical services to corporations around the world.
Job Description:
- The ability to perform in-process and final source inspections including First Article inspections per AS9102 Quality Standards
- The ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings, specifications, geometric dimensioning and tolerances per ANSI/ ASME Y 14.5.
- The ability to perform mechanical measurement for verifying the compliance of complex machined, formed, and assembled aircraft/engine components.
- Prior Experience:
- Mechanical Skills: General Mechanical
- Electrical Skills: General Electrical
Product Summary:
- Various hardware subcontracted for LM Space including circuit boards.
- Will need to support General Dynamics as well as Honeywell LM0055102 for in process and final source inspections.
Scope of Work:
- Must Maintain the following certifications and all Visual Acuity requirements to maintain them:
- NASA-STD-8739.1A - Polymeric Inspection Of Electronic Assemblies
- J-STD-001, Space Addendum, MAP Specifications 431176/411005 and NASA Standard 8739.6.
Certification(s) Selected: NASA
Certification Description: MAP Specifications 431176/411005 and NASA Standard 8739.6. Polymeric Applications NASA-Std-8739.1
Note:
- It is a part-time assignment.
- Estimated Length of each visit: 4 hours per visit
- Applicant must be a US Citizen, we are unable to sponsor at this time.
- W2 contract position to work on as needed basis.
