Our client is a rapidly expanding independent beauty brand with a stellar global reputation. They are looking for an experienced Director of Ecommerce to develop and execute their strategic online growth plans. The successful candidate will oversee the digital evolution of their platforms, pushing their digital footprint to new heights as they continue to expand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the maintenance and development of all online properties.
- Manage site updates including product launches, creative assets, press releases, and store locations.
- Handle inventory management to maintain healthy levels; oversee orders, sales, and deliveries.
- Lead web development initiatives to optimize the customer journey.
- Ensure consistent and error-free content across all platforms.
- Analyze online analytics to identify and recommend website enhancements.
- Conduct A/B testing to optimize content performance.
- Implement quality assurance and quality control protocols.
- Lead on-site promotions from asset creation to coupon code management.
- Stay updated with digital technology trends and innovations.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Department to align digital content with brand strategy.
- Analyze data, generate reports, and present findings to Senior Management as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in web development or digital management.
- Experience with Ecommerce backend systems, with Shopify proficiency being a plus.
- Proficient in Google Analytics and other reporting tools.
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other internal software.
- Proactive self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with an acute attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of integrity and adaptability to changing conditions.
- Passion for and experience in the beauty industry is desirable.
