Landscape / Ecological Restoration Construction Estimator
ER&M is currently seeking a self-motivated Senior Estimator, with a minimum of 5 years experience in estimating landscape installation projects and/or ecologically-based construction and installation projects (wetlands, reforestation, stream restoration, etc.). Responsibilities / qualifications include, but are not limited to:
Attending pre-bid meetings
Gathering, calculating, and compiling take-off data for use in bid proposals
Maintaining current and accurate information on prices from suppliers/subcontractors
Basic knowledge of native and traditional landscape plant materials and products
Basic knowledge of various ecosystems (i.e. tidal wetlands, riparian forests, streams, etc.)
Utilizing both standard computer and Asset estimating systems
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Bluebeam
Post bid follow up
Reviewing scope of awarded projects with production manager
