* Maintains quality service by assuring prompt and accurate handling of claims phone calls; addressing escalated complaints; ensures that all necessary information is collected and provided to claims adjusters.

* Accomplishes staff (Fast Lane Claims Representative) job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, appraising job results, recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.

* Maintains claims support operations by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees and by participating in other ad-hoc claims activities.

Education:

* Bachelors degree or higher

Experience:

* Previous experience in a Claims and/or Customer Service environment is required; prior supervisory experience is preferred. Insurance background preferred; non-standard auto insurance experience is a plus

Other skills and abilities:

* Excellent Customer Service Skills

* Excellent verbal and written communications skills

* Ability to manage own time while prioritizing multiple tasks

* Ability to remain calm when dealing with difficult customers

* Ability to learn and utilize computer systems and other technologies

* Ability to gather and analyze information in order to evaluate results and choose the best solution to the problem.
