Position Summary

Under the direction of the Senior Vice President (SVP), the Regional Vice President (RVP) will be responsible for identifying and securing new business. The ideal candidate is a proactive, confident, self-starter who thrives in competitive situations and is determined to exceed targeted goals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, educate, and develop strong consultant-partner relationships
  • Assist consultants with the identification and education of good prospective employers
  • Mastery of cost containment programs and their application for consultants and prospective employers
  • Develop strong relationships with members of the internal underwriting, market development, and marketing teams
  • Drive the understanding of large and complex risk management programs
  • Create and execute a regional sales plan to support sales goals
  • Implement sales techniques focused on the full sales lifecycle from lead generation to closing


Skills And Experience

  • 5+ years of recent experience in the self-insured/self-funded marketplace with strong Insurance Broker relationships
  • 5+ years of recent experience in a new business development role
  • Advanced knowledge of the West Texas/Oklahoma insurance market
  • Bachelor s degree
  • Must live within 30 miles of Oklahoma City or Tulsa area
