Home Health Administrative ADON needed in Sugar Land!
Schedule: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
Position Overview:
The Home Health Administrative Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) will assist in directing day-to-day office and clinical operations. This person will also share the workload with 1 more ADON to manage the field nursing team (RNs, LVNs, and CNAs).
Requirements:
- Active RN license in the State of Texas.
- Must have a minimum of at least 2-4 years of recent supervisory experience.
- Must have at least 2 years' of Home Health experience.
- EMR experience: WellSky highly favorable.
- Computer software skills needed: Word, Excel, Power Point Internet/Intranet use.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing Home Health Care.
- Must have excellent Organizational leadership, team building and diplomacy skills.
- Exceptional communication skills with peers, superiors and subordinates.
- Must have a proven track record of leadership and accomplishment in previous employment settings.
- Working knowledge of managed care, inpatient, outpatient, and the home health continuum, as well as utilization management and case management
Responsible For:
- Assists in directing day-to-day office and clinical operations.
- Oasis Knowledge to include hands-on experience with review
- Reviewing OASIS for correct billing information
- Quality assurance including reviewing charts and notes
- Case management
- Staff education and in-services, formulates and delivers educational program
