WOW Logistics is now hiring for a Facilities Repair and Maintenance Specialist!
WOW Logistics is searching for a Facilities Repair and Maintenance Specialist that will be responsible for a variety of job duties revolving around the efficient operations of our distribution centers and corporate office. Projects and repairs will span multiple trades including (but not limited to) carpentry, painting, plumbing, minor electrical, and other recognized crafts. Routine and preventative maintenance will be completed in a safe and efficient manner, where logical and sometimes out of the box thinking will be required. Repairs and projects will take place at multiple distribution centers, a company vehicle will be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Inspects properties and communicates with management regarding proper grounds keeping and general cleanup and maintenance
- Assists with installation of various equipment, repair and maintenance at warehouses
- Construction work, such as carpentry, painting, electrical, and plumbing
- Assists with small interior/exterior concrete replacement projects and floor joint caulking
- Respond to emergency situations during after-hours to resolve immediate safety and product concern
Qualifications:
- General construction laborer experience including, concrete finishing experience, plumbing, electrical knowledge, painting, drywall finishing, and/or flooring installation experience
- Valid Drivers license required. CDL preferred
- Ability to pass DOT physical
- Must be detail-oriented and well organized; excellent written, listening, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Strong MS Office Skills; including Word, Excel and Outlook is a must
- Strong math skills
- Ability to prioritize, organize, self-manage, and successfully balance multiple tasks and requests to meet project deadlines
- Must have a strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast paced environment
