Overview:
Hayward Holdings Inc. (NYSE "HAYW") is the largest manufacturer of residential swimming pool equipment in the world, with a significant presence in the commercial pool market that is continuously growing. Hayward designs, manufactures, and markets a full line of residential and commercial pool and spa equipment including pumps, filters, heating, cleaners, salt chlorinators, automation, lighting, safety, flow control and energy solutions at our company owned facilities. Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, Hayward also has facilities in Tennessee, Arizona, and Rhode Island as well as Canada, Spain, France, Australia, and China. This position is based in Charlotte, NC.
This position is a shared accounting function for Business Segments as well as the Corporate entity and is responsible for applying principles of accounting and finance by managing and reporting financial information, creating and maintaining standardized operational reporting, making journal entries, maintaining account reconciliation schedules, and providing insight and analysis.
Job allocation is expected as follows:
- 60% Business Segment Accounting Support
- 30% Corporate Accounting & Treasury Support
- 10% Consolidations Support
Responsibilities:
- Liaison between Controllership team and other finance teams enterprise wide.
- Corporate & Business Segment accounting tasks including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Support Treasury team with daily cash position reporting and cash application entries as needed.
- Monthly review of Segment P&L, addressing and correcting variances to forecast as needed.
- Prepare Quarterly and Annual Royalty reports and payments
- Assist in preparing and gathering information for quarterly and annual audit requests.
- Analytical reporting each quarter investigating and documenting fluctuations in the balance sheet.
- Exposed to monthly enterprise-wide consolidation process, with room for growth in this area.
- Budgeting/Forecasting significant balance sheet movements.
- Transformation/Process improvement champion find ways to get work done faster, easier, & more accurately.
Qualifications:
- A bachelors degree in accounting or related field.
- At least 5 years related accounting experience is required. Accounting experience inside a Manufacturing and/or international company experience a plus.
- Ability to work independently to solve problems required.
- Ability to coordinate activities between various accounting and finance groups required.
- Onestream experience strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, organized, and resourceful.
- Consolidation experience with global company and intercompany segments strongly preferred. Experience using Microsoft D365 system is preferred.
Hayward provides an open and dynamic work environment which promotes cross-functional teamwork and problem solving. Hayward operates with a hybrid work environment, with 4 days expected in office (MON-THURS) and 1 day with the ability to work from home (FRI).
