Boeing **Sylmar** is in need of Assemblers to join our team and support the manufacturing build of space electronics.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
* Experience in electronics and electro-mechanical assemblies
* Experience in manufacturing assembly related work
* Trade skills training or manufacturing experience
* Familiar with Microsoft Applications
* Familiarity with solar cell and solar panel manufacturing processes
* Experience reading detailed assembly drawings and understanding the basics of geometrical dimensioning and tolerance (GDT)
* Knowledge of Lean Mfg. ISO9001 and AS9100 concepts and practices
**This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. US Person includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.**
**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):**
* Previous experience in an electronics assembly production environment
* Have the ability to use manual fine motor skills or similar hands-on work
**Typical Education**
High School Diploma or GED
**This is an hourly position.**
**Relocation:**
This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
