What is the position?
The Sr. Financial Reporting Analyst will be responsible for preparing, examining and analyzing records or operational reports in order to assess for accuracy, completeness and conformity to procedural standards.
What will you do?
- As a Sr. Financial Reporting Analyst, you will:Compile, analyze, and record account transaction information for management decision-making.
- Perform maintenance of an accurate and complete general ledger.
- Prepare reports and financial statements.
- Prepare monthly closing journal entries, account reconciliations and financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual reports to SEC and other joint venture partners and lenders.
- Assist in the preparation of schedules/other information on an as need basis (ie. Tax information, rate filing schedules, etc.).
- Prepare and analyze reports and information associated with monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
- Ensure compliance with internal/external requirements and regulations.
- Serve as the liaison for internal/external customers.
What are the requirements?
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting or related
- 6+ years of experience in Accounting or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in the Oil&Gas Industry preferred
- Oracle experience preferred
- Financial reporting experience required
- SEC reporting experience preferred
- "Big 4" experience preferred
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Ability to display a high level of initiative, effort and commitment towards completing assignments and achieving goals efficiently
- Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize in order to meet established deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office applications
