If you're a sustainability strategist who dreams in science fiction, a systems-savvy artist-activist or a multidisciplinary maven fired up to put your skills in service of civilizational transformation, this is your once-upon-a-time moment.
In this wildly collaborative role, you'll join forces with a band of brilliant misfits to conjure immersive storytelling experiences that bring a thriving regenerative world to life. We'll tap indigenous wisdom, paleo-futurist fantasies and cutting-edge research to detail the landscapes, lifestyles and love stories of our solarpunk descendants - then chart the plot twists between now and their utopia.
Your Superpowers:
- Voracious curiosity spanning ecology, clean tech, social innovation, participatory governance, regenerative economics, biomimetic design, eco-futurism, utopian literature, etc.
- Seasoned in solarpunk aesthetics, transformational storytelling, futures thinking, backcasting and/or speculative design
- Numinous imagination; able to dream up lush, inviting worlds rich with texture, culture and enchanting details
- Dazzling in multiple media; might build storyworlds through fiction, film, data viz, games, XR, experiential futures, etc.
- Magnetic communicator who inspires with authenticity, beauty and wit
- Natural-born collaborator and "dot-connector" across disciplines and cultures

Role Description
This is a volunteer role for a Solarpunk Solutionary Storyteller. As a storyteller, you will be responsible for communicating and sharing the stories of social innovations with transformative impact potential. Your tasks may include writing articles, creating engaging content, capturing photographs, and contributing to editorial work. This is a remote role, and you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere.
