**In-Home Caregiver**
Home Helpers of Northeastern Illinois Job Description Home Helpers of Northeastern Illinois is licensed as a Home Services Agency by the Illinois Department of Public Health. The mission of Home Helpers is to relieve the stress that comes with making a decision about who is going to provide care when a family caregiver is no longer able to provide the care that their loved one needs and deserves. We serve the area from Huntley to Lake Michigan shore, from the Illinois state line to the Chicago North Shore area.
Home Helpers is currently seeking part-time and full-time caregivers in the northern suburbs .
We are seeking caregivers with at least 1-year of experience for clients with more complex needs. For other clients, no experience is necessary; we provide the training. We're looking for reliable caregivers with a passion for service, true desire to help the elderly, and who are doing this for more than just a paycheck. Home Helpers is a licensed in-home care company offering competitive wages, benefits, field support team and ongoing industry training!
Primary Responsibilities:
Companionship
Personal Care (bathing, dressing, toileting)
Light housekeeping
Laundry
Meal prep and clean up
Medication reminders
Transportation
Qualifications:
Minimum high school diploma or GED
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be able to pass criminal background checks
Must be proficient in reading and writing the English language
Valid Drivers License
Vehicle with valid insurance and registration
