Job Title: Strategic Sales Executive
Location: Hybrid, but local to Chicago area
Position Summary:
Korn Ferry is working with a leading integrator of audio visual, video surveillance, physical security solutions and Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) to expand their Sales Executive team. This 30-year-old company is a leader in their field and is continuously selected by their clients for their high level of technical expertise and unfailing customer support.
Ideal candidates are self-starters with a proven track record in business development who are looking for the next step in their career to have unlimited earning capability. The owner is a strong believer in paying a premium for top talent which shows in their strong sales team tenure.

Responsibilities:
- Generate pipeline and sales Ideal candidates have an established client network.
- Have 2+ years experience in selling AV, DAS, and Security solutions to drive revenue growth.
- Build relationships with enterprise and medium sized B2B clients.
- Successfully manage the full client sales cycle including lead generation, client demonstrations, proposal development, and assist with post-sale support as needed.
- Work effectively and collaborate with dedicated Design & Engineering and other internal support team members.
- Develop annual sales and execution plan
- Maintain and produce monthly forecasts and track weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual goals
- Maintain a high level of organization, managing pipeline, forecasts, and client interactions efficiently
- Embrace a small company mentality and dynamic environment
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience selling A/V, DAS, physical security and/or structured cabling solutions
- Documented track record of consistently achieving at least $1.5-3M+ in gross revenue per year
- A high-hunter mindset with a strong desire to build and expand a book of business
- Ideally, has an existing book of business and/or a strong referral network with Real Estate Developers, Architecture, Engineering, & Construction (AEC), Designers, etc.
- Display self-motivation and initiative, consistently seeking out new opportunities and staying ahead of industry trends
- Willingness to come to the local office for client demos and to meet and develop relationships with support team
