High-profile campaign for citywide elected office in San Francisco seeks highly-motivated, experienced campaign manager with a passion for organizing and track record of achieving results. This position is ideal for those with experience as campaign managers, field directors or organizers, finance directors, other campaign positions, or the equivalent, who can leverage past experience to demonstrate their capacity to manage a competitive, bootstrapped local campaign.


Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the candidate and general consultants to execute on campaign strategy - including field, finance, coalition-building, and day-to-day operations.
  • Manage the candidate s schedule, help them achieve call time fundraising goals.
  • Diligently monitor and document progress toward campaign goals, including volunteer engagement and fundraising. Track campaign plans and budget.
  • Plan campaign events including fundraisers, house parties and volunteer canvasses.
  • Take ownership of the campaign s success, look for opportunities to go the extra mile to ensure victory on Election Day.


Desired qualities and skills:

  • Campaign experience is required.
  • Highly organized, punctual, and attentive to detail.
  • Access to a laptop, phone, and car (with valid driver s license).
  • Self-motivated worker who can work independently and is motivated by a mission-focused work environment.
  • Commitment to public service, civic engagement and Democratic values.
  • High standards of integrity, maturity, and discretion.
  • Currently located in California s Bay Area.
  • Ability to work irregular hours and weekends.
  • Must be able to commit through the election cycle.
