American Hardwood Industries, a leading producer of hardwood products is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator located at our Waynesboro facility. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, exceptionally organized, able to manage complex systems, and who has excellent communication, math and analytical skills, and relevant computer software know-how. The Inventory Control Coordinator can expect to work with associated documentation, complete tasks alone and in teams, manage multiple inventories, and report to and advise company management.
**Inventory Coordinator Responsibilities:**
* Managing inventory and fulfillment systems.
* Ensure compliance to all policies and procedures and manage inventory for organization.
* Ensuring all documentation related to inventory flows is complete, accurate and filed correctly.
* Identifying, analyzing and addressing gaps in inventory processes.
* Respond to sales inquiries; collect and analyze data to determine appropriate order quantities. knowledge of processing orders for shipment.
* Review operations schedules and production requirements to ensure timely order fulfillment.
* Coordinate with sales department and provide inventory support at all times.
**Inventory Coordinator Education/skills:**
* Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business operations, logistics, mathematics, or related field preferred
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office with emphasis on Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Database queries within spreadsheets knowledge helpful but not required.
* Familiarity with SAP enterprise resource planning software a plus.
