Overview
JST is currently seeking a Senior Database Administrator to join our team. This is a full-time ON-SITE position in Arlington, VA. JST offers a full benefit package, a collaborative work environment and strong company culture. Veterans and military spouses are encouraged to apply. This position is contingent upon contract award.
Senior Database Administrator Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain database security
- Establish and maintain sound backup and recovery policies
- Develop standards, procedures, and conventions for use
- Perform system application and software installation and deployment of application software
- Perform database tuning and performance monitoring
- Have experience in all functions of database administration and database design.
Senior Database Administrator Qualifications- Bachelor's degree
- 10+ years general experience with Database Administration
- 8 years of SQL Server experience
Senior Database Administrator Desired Qualifications- Business Objects Local Area Network design, implementation, management and administration
- MS SQL Server
- Oracle Relational database Software
- SQL Server Management studio
Required Clearances and Screenings- MUST have an active Top Secret clearance
- MUST be able to pass a US Government Security Clearance
