The Opportunity


At Forge, we re looking for an entrepreneurial Director of Operations who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about making a tangible impact. In this role, you will identify and implement improvements across our operations, ensuring an efficient and effective experience for both students and company partners.


With your expertise, you will lead the integration of innovative technologies and manage a robust operational strategy. You understand the nuances of operational management and are adept at driving processes that support and amplify our mission. Your leadership will not only maintain but elevate our standards, helping us to continue to deliver exceptional value to our stakeholders. Responsibilities


Program Management:

  • Lead and refine the operational aspects of the Launch program, encompassing student onboarding, training, and matching processes.
  • Ensure seamless integration and functionality of program applications and automations.

Sales and Account Operations:

  • Oversee the sales process from automation to account management, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in sales operations and client relationships.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to manage the end-to-end process, from lead generation to contract finalization.

Product and Engineering Collaboration:

  • Manage internal software tools, focusing on usability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering team to enhance product features and resolve technical issues.

Strategic Event Planning:

  • Lead the organization and execution of key events, particularly those focused on gender equity.
  • Create and maintain partnerships with stakeholders to enhance event quality and outreach.

Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the Executive Director and other department leaders to align operational activities with the organization's strategic goals.
  • Provide leadership and support to teams under direct supervision, including account management and engineering, fostering an environment of growth and productivity.


Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in operations management.
  • Proficient in no/low-code tools such as Zapier, Airtable, Cognito Forms, and Paperform.
  • Autonomous self-starter with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and effective time management.
  • Passionate about innovation in education and accessibility of early career opportunities.


Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary: $65,000-$75,000 commensurate with experience.
  • Benefits: Comprehensive health insurance, unlimited paid time off.
