Sr. Human Resource Generalist ~ Alexandria VA
$80k-$90k, great benefits, growing company!
My client is a growing trade association located in Alexandria, VA Senior. Human Resource Generalist to lead their team. The Senior Human Resource Generalist will lead all human resource generalist duties, including employee relations, compliance, benefits and payroll, recruiting, and onboarding new hires. The Senior HR Generalist will work with senior leadership on strategic human resources initiatives. Human resource professionals with experience in ADP are highly encouraged to apply. The Senior Human Resource Generalist will be responsible for the following duties:
Process employee payroll in ADP
Conduct all new hire employee orientations.
Prepare benefits packets and process enrollment
Responsible for employee relations matters with all staff
Administration of the annual performance management program; monitor the timeliness of distribution to and receipt from client leaders of all evaluation forms and job descriptions and facilitating open communication between supervisors and employees.
Oversee compliance, including local state laws and staying up to date with Federal HR laws
Manage the process of all employee disciplinary actions. Provide coaching and counsel as needed
Responsible for employee relations and including documenting/updating employee files
Prepare new hire offer letters and all other employment documents
Responsible for exit interviews and proper documentation to place in employee files.
Maintain the employee policies/procedures manual.

Requirements:
BS/BA degree and/or PHR, SHRM
4 + years experience in human resource generalist duties
ADP Workforce Now HRIS experience is highly preferred
