Be Team AAFP.SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:The social media specialist is a key member of the social media team, supporting work that provides relevant, important and timely information to AAFP s members and key stakeholders. From assisting with community management to editorial calendar execution, the specialist ensures the effectiveness of our key social media initiatives and campaigns.Social Media Specialist Duties:Assists with social media strategy and editorial calendar execution.Supports social media reporting and analytics tracking.Supports community management efforts, including monitoring AAFP s social media channels, responding to messages, and monitoring our social listening queries.Ensures alignment with cross-division initiatives, particularly with the channel strategy and execution team.Supports live event coverage for premier events.Keeps a daily pulse on social media and influencer news, trends and updates.Other duties as assignedREQUIREMENTS:Bachelor s degree with 1-2 years related experienceAbove average proficiency in Microsoft suite products, social media management tools (e.g., Sprout Social), social media platforms, basic content creation and editing tools (e.g., Canva)Excellent organizational skillsProficient writing, editing (photo/video/text), and communication skills#LI-HybridAt the AAFP we are committed to diversity an
