Job Description
Summary/objective
- Aid in all press house operations; including but not limited to: Press deck operation, inspection deck operation, apple hopper operation, CIP systems, and apple management.
- Operate a forklift safely throughout the plant
- Help to achieve the needs of the plant for juice gallons, yield, and quality.
- Aid in the appropriate apple blend to ensure good yields and correct blending of types to hit brix targets.
- Bring an eye of cleanliness to the team to ensure the working space is kept clean and orderly.
- Aid in PMs including but not limited to, greasing and washing

Supervisory responsibilities
Work environmentThe work environment can be cold, wet, hot, and noisy, and employees may frequently have to work in confined spaces like fermenting vessels and tanks. The environment is in high places, wet surface, and is exposed to loud noises, fumes and/or toxic chemicals. The work environment is near moving or mechanical parts and lift truck traffic as well as the ability to life up to 55lbs.
Physical demands- Ability to stand for extend periods of time, walk, talk, hear, use hands to finger, grasp, handle or feel, push, pull, reach, crouch, kneel, crawl or bend, and perform repetitive motions of the hands and/or wrist.
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs of force frequently and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Environment may be wet, and can be hot or cold. Machinery is loud, ear protection is provided. Some parts of job may be outdoors.

- Experience in a fruit pressing or manufacturing facility
- Forklift experience
