As the HR Administrator at Ag Express Electronics, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Human Resources department by performing various administrative tasks and ensuring smooth operations. This position will be responsible for handling HR-related inquiries, maintaining employee records, coordinating recruitment activities, and assisting with other HR functions as needed.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Support:

  • Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, and other communications on behalf of the HR department and leadership.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and materials for HR department meetings and presentations.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential files and records for the HR department, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Act as a liaison between the HR department and other departments or external stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
Employee Records Management:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, attendance records, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
Recruitment Support:
  • Assist with the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks.
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation processes, including preparing paperwork and facilitating orientation sessions.
Benefits Administration:
  • Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries regarding employee benefits programs such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
HR Policy and Procedure Administration:
  • Support the implementation and enforcement of HR policies and procedures by ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Provide guidance to employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
HR Documentation and Reporting:
  • Prepare and distribute HR-related documents, such as offer letters, employment contracts, and HR policies and procedures.
  • Generate HR reports and maintain HR metrics to track key performance indicators and trends.
Employee Relations:
  • Handle HR-related inquiries from employees and managers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Assist with employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
Training and Development:
  • Assist with the organization and coordination of employee training sessions, workshops, and other professional development initiatives.
Compliance and Audits:
  • Ensure compliance with HR laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Assist with HR audits and investigations as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments related to repair services and product development to ensure seamless integration and alignment with company objectives.

Qualifications:
  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Communication, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience:
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in HR Administration required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in various HR tasks such as onboarding, benefits administration, and personnel file management.
  • Experience in interpreting and implementing HR policies and procedures in compliance with legal requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective communication skills for interactions with employees, management, and external stakeholders.
Physical Requirements:
  • Seated Position: Ability to remain in a seated position for approximately 50% of the time, with the capacity to alternate between sitting and standing as necessary.
  • Communication: Skill in exchanging accurate information with customers, co-workers, vendors, etc., utilizing verbal, written, and electronic communication methods.
  • Desk Work: Comfort with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer to perform administrative and operational tasks.
  • Lifting Limitation: Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally as part of job responsibilities.
